Paulo Pierres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but 贺杰兴 made a huge save. Paulo Pierres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 贺杰兴 came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Pierres slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. 贺杰兴 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Pierres in the 34th minute. Marcial Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 胡杰荣 in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 胡杰荣 to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Roland Brack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
