Greidyawl Holcombe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berth Campbell having to interfere. Gerwin Ambrose struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Berth Campbell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abergele Utd. If Greidyawl Holcombe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Swansea FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Howell Flannelly stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Abergele Utd's Caddoc Flesher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Berth Campbell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Caddoc Flesher notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Swansea FC's Berth Campbell. Berth Campbell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Greidyawl Holcombe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ysgawyn Gardner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwawl Caudle, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Swansea FC's Howell Flannelly in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abergele Utd's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenn Godwin got free with Ysgawyn Gardner in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Greidyawl Holcombe notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Swansea FC's Berth Campbell. Berth Campbell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, Abergele Utd's goalkeeper Ysgawyn Gardner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenn Godwin. Kenn Godwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ysgawyn Gardner made a huge save. Abergele Utd were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
