Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Abergele Utd's Greidyawl Holcombe in the 17th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ol Bellew was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for UWA Cardigan through an amazing save. In the 21st minute, Llwydeu Bellew made a precise shot to the right of Ysgawyn Gardner. Abergele Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ysgawyn Gardner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerawdwr Case in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, UWA Cardigan's Amerawdwr Case nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ysgawyn Gardner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 31st minute Amerawdwr Case shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysgawyn Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Abergele Utd defense, Llwydeu Bellew kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ysgawyn Gardner. The Abergele Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ysgawyn Gardner should have stopped the shot. Ysgawyn Gardner didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UWA Cardigan's Amerawdwr Case shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Amynedd Shrieve hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Greidyawl Holcombe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caddoc Flesher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ol Bellew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amerawdwr Case stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Caddoc Flesher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ol Bellew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Amerawdwr Case managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Cardigan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amerawdwr Case was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. UWA Cardigan's Ol Bellew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greidyawl Holcombe in the 59th minute of play. Llwydeu Bellew's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Ysgawyn Gardner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 62 minutes of play, Abergele Utd's Greidyawl Holcombe made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ol Bellew was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Greidyawl Holcombe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ol Bellew was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Greidyawl Holcombe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ol Bellew having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, UWA Cardigan's goal looked a bit too open when Caddoc Flesher came free, but Ol Bellew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Greidyawl Holcombe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abergele Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Caddoc Flesher struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ol Bellew didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abergele Utd. Ysgawyn Gardner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerawdwr Case in the 88th minute of play. Caddoc Flesher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ol Bellew having to interfere. Greidyawl Holcombe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ol Bellew read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Ol Bellew came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Abergele Utd's Caddoc Flesher. But to his dismay, Caddoc Flesher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The Abergele Utd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UWA Cardigan's performance. The match ended with a win for UWA Cardigan.
