Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's Mariano Urquiaga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vicente Locatelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gandwy Hawker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anfri Dack might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lovel Hobbs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anfri Dack ran back to his position shaking his head. Lovel Hobbs came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Caerleon FC's Cadeyrn Donald. But to his dismay, Cadeyrn Donald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadeyrn Donald in the 15th minute of play forced Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's goalkeeper Lovel Hobbs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drew Doney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lovel Hobbs having to make a save. Mariano Urquiaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's Lovel Hobbs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cadwgawn Kinealy in the 36th minute of play. Nicolae Mincu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gandwy Hawker having to interfere. Mariano Urquiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Nicolae Mincu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolae Mincu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Nicolae Mincu made a precise shot to the right of Gandwy Hawker. Caerleon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cadeyrn Donald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Drew Doney made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's goalkeeper Lovel Hobbs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cadeyrn Donald. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cadeyrn Donald in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lovel Hobbs saved Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain from getting behind. Lovel Hobbs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drew Doney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Lovel Hobbs successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 57th minute, Cadwgawn Kinealy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lovel Hobbs was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's Lovel Hobbs got control of the ball when Cadeyrn Donald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's Lovel Hobbs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drew Doney in the 65th minute of play. Lovel Hobbs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drew Doney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 76 minutes, Vicente Locatelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Locatelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Caerleon FC's Drew Doney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lovel Hobbs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Mariano Urquiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cadfael Brackeen, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 86th minute, Mariano Urquiaga made a precise shot to the right of Gandwy Hawker. Caerleon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 95th minute Drew Doney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lovel Hobbs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caerleon FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's much stronger midfield.
