Rhychdir Healy kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cadeyrn Donald got free with Drwst Hand in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 played minutes Wrexham Hooligans got a freekick which was hit by Gwydre Fletcher. Llwybyr Leggott hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Cadeyrn Donald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mawrth Kemple struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gandwy Hawker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wrexham Hooligans. 57 minutes into the match, Caerleon FC's goalkeeper Gandwy Hawker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mawrth Kemple. Mawrth Kemple fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gandwy Hawker having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Anwell Bain fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cadwgawn Kinealy hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Cadwgawn Kinealy fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caerleon FC's protests and gave Cadwgawn Kinealy a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Caerleon FC got a freekick which was hit by Cadwgawn Kinealy. Gandwy Hawker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anwell Bain in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Cadeyrn Donald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caerleon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cadeyrn Donald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes, Drew Doney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caerleon FC and the Wrexham Hooligans players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wrexham Hooligans's supporters rose to their feet, but Mawrth Kemple was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gandwy Hawker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mawrth Kemple had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-3 became the score in the 88th minute when Anwell Bain elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anwell Bain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
