After 16 played minutes Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Locatelli. After a rather tough play, Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's Dagonet Frampton got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cant Cockwell came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's Vicente Locatelli. But to his dismay, Vicente Locatelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lovel Hobbs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Drew French in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Drew French notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's Lovel Hobbs. Lovel Hobbs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariano Urquiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolae Mincu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nicolae Mincu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The wind increased when Mariano Urquiaga made the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Lovel Hobbs saved Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain from getting behind. Prestatyn's Drew French got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolae Mincu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Drew French fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lovel Hobbs having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Wren Long managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granwen Hyslop hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Mariano Urquiaga charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Urquiaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
