Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Urquiaga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lovel Hobbs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadellin Finlay in the 4th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Talgarth's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Locatelli came free, but Rhys Wharfinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Granwen Hyslop kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Lovel Hobbs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kynon Lax's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When Talgarth's Andras Leek in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Cadellin Finlay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talgarth's supporters rose to their feet, but Cadellin Finlay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lovel Hobbs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Urquiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Nicolae Mincu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Wharfinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lovel Hobbs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andras Leek, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Mariano Urquiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bran Canada's late challenge caught a Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bran Canada helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Talgarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bran Canada to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andras Leek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhun Hannah didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Kynon Lax got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Aeddan Howker fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talgarth's protests and gave Aeddan Howker a yellow card for diving instead. Aeddan Howker hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Lovel Hobbs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andras Leek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. Rhys Wharfinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Locatelli in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's Dagonet Frampton got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 67 played minutes Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Urquiaga. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Mincu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Andras Leek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lovel Hobbs made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cadellin Finlay sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cadellin Finlay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cadellin Finlay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lovel Hobbs having to interfere. When Andras Leek came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Talgarth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andras Leek couldn't finish the play. Andras Leek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Talgarth booed when Llansanffraid-ym-Mechain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Urquiaga didn't get a good kick on the ball.
