Spectators: 7710 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rui Gueifão took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arcangel's Paulo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Modesto in the 4th minute of play. Diogo Modesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Leite having to make a save. 9 minutes into the match, Mini àguias's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Gueifão came free, but Porfírio Vigário reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Mini àguias's goal looked a bit too open when Hermenegildo Raposo came free, but Porfírio Vigário reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Armando Aleixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arcangel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mini àguias the free kick. In the 14th minute, Armando Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Mini àguias fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Mini àguias's Encho Saco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Encho Saco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Paulo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Merlim kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Mini àguias's Encho Saco made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there! Encho Saco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Leite having to interfere. In the 35th minute Manuel Eiró shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfírio Vigário saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Porfírio Vigário made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Eiró in the 37th minute of play. If Encho Saco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Paulo Leite successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Diogo Modesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Paulo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Diogo Modesto made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Encho Saco sped through Arcangel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo Leite. If Diogo Modesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Encho Saco in the 58th minute of play forced Arcangel's goalkeeper Paulo Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Modesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Encho Saco took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Leite. Paulo Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Hermenegildo Brandão's late challenge caught a Mini àguias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermenegildo Brandão helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Arcangel's Hermenegildo Brandão got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Diogo Modesto made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Leite. Arcangel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Arcangel's Paulo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Encho Saco in the 82nd minute of play. Paulo Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diogo Modesto's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Encho Saco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Leite having to interfere. Arcangel's Paulo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Modesto in the 88th minute of play. If Encho Saco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Encho Saco in the 92nd minute of play. Encho Saco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arcangel's Paulo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Modesto in the 96th minute of play. Mini àguias's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
