The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mini àguias's goalkeeper Porfírio Vigário, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Mini àguias got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Modesto. In the 17th minute of the match Vicente Vides shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Porfírio Vigário showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mini àguias's zone, Cesário Abrantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Porfírio Vigário came out of the goal and Cesário Abrantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesário Abrantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfírio Vigário having to interfere. When Encho Saco fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mini àguias's protests and gave Encho Saco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Encho Saco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Vicente Vides shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Porfírio Vigário showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermes Aleixo got free with Vladimiro Matai in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the game, Cesário Abrantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Porfírio Vigário was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Salvador Mafra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mini àguias's Porfírio Vigário played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Mafra in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, ADCR Loreto United FC's Josué Lameiras seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Josué Lameiras the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ADCR Loreto United FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Josué Lameiras had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 48th minute of the match Amílcar Cunha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimiro Matai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Mini àguias players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ADCR Loreto United FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diogo Modesto to strike the kick off in the second half. Diogo Modesto struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Vladimiro Matai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mini àguias. ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermes Aleixo in the 56th minute of play. Mini àguias's Porfírio Vigário proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mini àguias from getting a goal against them. Vladimiro Matai was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Amaro during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A wasted opportunity for ADCR Loreto United FC. ADCR Loreto United FC's Salvador Mafra quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Álvaro Antunes, made in the 70th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Vicente Vides got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Cesário Abrantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's Cesário Abrantes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Porfírio Vigário narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Porfírio Vigário made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Torcato in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Álvaro Antunes threw the ball into play from the sideline. ADCR Loreto United FC's Vicente Vides quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Encho Saco made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ADCR Loreto United FC's Arthur Maia. Frederico Torcato came free in the 94th minute and tried to tip the ball over Porfírio Vigário, but to the joy of Mini àguias's supporters the ball went over. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Cesário Abrantes got a free kick in the 96th minute. ADCR Loreto United FC played a much better game than Mini àguias and deserved their victory. The Mini àguias players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
