SC Agucadeira's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Óscar Freire 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Raposo got free with Matias Tinoco in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Agucadeira's Matias Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save SC Agucadeira from getting a goal against them. João Bettencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Bettencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, SC Agucadeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Bettencourt to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Armindo Castanheira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Tinoco. SC Agucadeira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armindo Castanheira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. João Bettencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Sords Team's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Valverde came free, but Durval Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, SC Agucadeira's Elias Rebelo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Durval Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filipe Valverde scored 2-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Miranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 played minutes Sords Team got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Castanheira. Durval Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Rebelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Armindo Castanheira made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SC Agucadeira's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Freire came free, but Matias Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sords Team's Durval Miranda got control of the ball when Diamantino Seixas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Durval Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Bettencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torcato Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Agucadeira's zone, Óscar Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Tinoco came out of the goal and Óscar Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sords Team's Durval Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Sords Team from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Sords Team defense, Elias Rebelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Durval Miranda. The Sords Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Miranda should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Elias Rebelo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Durval Miranda. That made the score 2-4 in the 72 minute of play. After 74 played minutes SC Agucadeira got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Peralta. When Dimas Viana fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Agucadeira's protests and gave Dimas Viana a yellow card for diving instead. Matias Tinoco went to the wrong direction when Rafael Raposo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to SC Agucadeira getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cristóvão Lencastre hit a great ball. Sords Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when João Bettencourt scored to the left of an out of position Durval Miranda, making the score, 2-5. If Julião Damásio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Agucadeira's zone, Armindo Castanheira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Tinoco came out of the goal and Armindo Castanheira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Freire in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Cristóvão Lencastre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Agucadeira's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
