The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Marcosta F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Souto. Tarcísio Santarém charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarcísio Santarém the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filipe Valverde received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Heitor Matias came out and tried to block the shot, but Filipe Valverde slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. After 13 played minutes, SC Agucadeira's Tomás Abrantes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Heitor Matias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Agucadeira reached it. 14 minutes into the match, Filipe Valverde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heitor Matias. Marcosta F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Valverde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. João Bettencourt succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The supporters of Marcosta F.C booed when SC Agucadeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Seixas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evandro Rijo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Tinoco having to make a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heitor Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Valverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Diamantino Seixas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heitor Matias. Matias Tinoco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evandro Rijo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Elias Rebelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Marcosta F.C's goalkeeper Heitor Matias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Bettencourt.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Bettencourt made a kick off. Matias Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Rijo in the 52nd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Filipe Valverde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. With a little luck, SC Agucadeira's Matias Tinoco got control of the ball when Santiago Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. SC Agucadeira's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
