The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristiano Cabral made in the 5th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Filipe Veiga however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Klose in the 9th minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Máximo Azeredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Lúcio Vilaça made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristopher Johnson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Vilhena came free, but Kristopher Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Ɍυƒυs™ were awarded a corner. Ludvig Groth went to the cornerflag to take it. Miroslav Klose took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máximo Azeredo. Máximo Azeredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Ɍυƒυs™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardo Simões took the corner. Ilídio Abrantes hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Miroslav Klose managed to get in a good position for a shot. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Miroslav Klose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Azeredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilídio Abrantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Azeredo having to interfere. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Kristopher Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Vilaça in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Vilaça came free, but Kristopher Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ɍυƒυs™ were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ludvig Groth took the corner. The corner led Ɍυƒυs™'s Ludvig Groth to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristopher Johnson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The wind increased when Miroslav Klose made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Miroslav Klose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslav Klose was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Filipe Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabiano Medeiros hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Kristopher Johnson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Miroslav Klose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Miroslav Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Azeredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lúcio Vilaça kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kristopher Johnson. That made the score 2-2 in the 79 minute of play. Kristopher Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Vilaça in the 83rd minute of the match. Lúcio Vilaça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Kristopher Johnson made a huge save. Lúcio Vilaça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ɍυƒυs™ booed when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilídio Abrantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristopher Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Vilaça in the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
