QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Brendan Tran quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aleksander Zapolski, made in the 3rd minute of the game. After 6 minutes, Miroslav Klose made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Miroslav Klose fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s protests and gave Miroslav Klose a yellow card for diving instead. Miroslav Klose received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pankracy Zawacki came out and tried to block the shot, but Miroslav Klose slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pankracy Zawacki. That made the score 3-0 after 15 minutes of play. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cristiano Rego hit a great ball. Kristopher Johnson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aron Ghinescu's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Ilídio Abrantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Miroslav Klose notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki. Pankracy Zawacki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Meerkats FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Meerkats FC's Amir Abou Jisser looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute, Fabiano Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aron Ghinescu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Meerkats FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Ghinescu couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslav Klose in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Zawacki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miroslav Klose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Zawacki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Pankracy Zawacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Klose in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Meerkats FC defense, Miroslav Klose kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Zawacki. The Meerkats FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Zawacki should have stopped the shot. Miroslav Klose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pankracy Zawacki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Ghinescu was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Miroslav Klose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Pankracy Zawacki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aleksander Zapolski got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gilbert Incorvaia. Kristopher Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amir Abou Jisser in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Amir Abou Jisser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristopher Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawacki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 played minutes QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ilídio Abrantes. 63 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goalkeeper Kristopher Johnson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amir Abou Jisser. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shaun De Battista was slow to take the kick. During this time Meerkats FC's players had a chance to rest. 65 minutes into the match, Amir Abou Jisser had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristopher Johnson. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amir Abou Jisser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Miroslav Klose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Zawacki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Bomba came free, but Pankracy Zawacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Alfred Coleiro made a precise shot to the right of Kristopher Johnson. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Shaun De Battista got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 79th minute Miroslav Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zawacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Klose came free, but Pankracy Zawacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Miroslav Klose managed to get in a good position for a shot. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Miroslav Klose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pankracy Zawacki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Meerkats FC's Amir Abou Jisser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristopher Johnson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-4.
