Garstang AFC's Ray Folwill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierce Hurdle in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Ash Taylor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garstang AFC the free kick. A collision led to Autocares Vázquez Olmedo getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ash Taylor hit a great ball. Florencio Maureo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Holden. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute Anselmo Spione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Holden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Holden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Spione in the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Anselmo Spione managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garstang AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Spione was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Holden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Garstang AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kiera Archer came free, but Ray Folwill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Holden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garstang AFC. In the 29th minute, Anselmo Spione left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garstang AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Jewson came free, but Alexander Holden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray Folwill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierce Hurdle, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Anselmo Spione recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's Blair Adcock got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Kris Jewson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garstang AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Jewson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Wilfried Stekelenburg put in a rough tackle. In the 47th minute, one of Autocares Vázquez Olmedo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Autocares Vázquez Olmedo. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Vedat Kabataş in the 57th minute of play forced Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's goalkeeper Alexander Holden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Holden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Lundy in the 60th minute of the match. Ash Taylor hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Kris Jewson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Alexander Holden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th match minute, Autocares Vázquez Olmedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ash Taylor to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Florencio Maureo from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Alexander Holden's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Darius McRaild took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ray Folwill. Ray Folwill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 74th minute, Darius McRaild got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ray Folwill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierce Hurdle in the 76th minute of play. Anselmo Spione sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82nd play minutes Pierce Hurdle shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Ray Folwill and just under the crossbar into goal. Kris Jewson took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Holden. Alexander Holden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 89th minute, Alfredo Lundy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Zak Boulton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zak Boulton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darius McRaild in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray Folwill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Pierce Hurdle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierce Hurdle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Folwill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
