Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Breffni Dillon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 8 minutes into the match, Ballydaly's Raonall Coyle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braoin McStephen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bran Scully made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quirk Todd in the 12th minute of play. If Quirk Todd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bran Scully made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breffni Dillon in the 22nd minute of play. After 22 played minutes Ballydaly got a freekick which was hit by Artuir Horgan. 24 minutes into the match, Ballydaly's goal looked a bit too open when Breffni Dillon came free, but Bran Scully reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quirk Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Breffni Dillon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ballydaly's Bran Scully. Bran Scully was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quirk Todd took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bran Scully. Bran Scully dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 44th minute Breffni Dillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Scully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Quirk Todd notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ballydaly's Bran Scully. Bran Scully was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boddibevve Matthews stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Quirk Todd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glannagaul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quirk Todd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artuir Horgan charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artuir Horgan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artuir Horgan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Quirk Todd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braoin McStephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raonall Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quirk Todd got free with Bran Scully in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Raonall Coyle came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ballydaly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raonall Coyle couldn't finish the play. Ballydaly's Bran Scully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breffni Dillon in the 68th minute of play. Bran Scully didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quirk Todd went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 79 minutes into the match, Ballydaly's Boddibevve Matthews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braoin McStephen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ryleigh Dimson charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryleigh Dimson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Glannagaul getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ryleigh Dimson hit a great ball. Raonall Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Glannagaul players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
