Lou Cassin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caroll Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Monasterevin's Kevion Mulvihill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lou Cassin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Lou Cassin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevion Mulvihill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevion Mulvihill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louie Gollogley kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Bree Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art McSteven having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Kevion Mulvihill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CKS Piast Cieszyn's Lou Cassin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, CKS Piast Cieszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Kevion Mulvihill came free, but Lou Cassin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kevion Mulvihill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lou Cassin was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Lou Cassin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevion Mulvihill in the 44th minute of the match. Caroll Lester kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryland McGlenn made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Monasterevin's Dane Lester got a free kick in the 51st minute. Art McSteven came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by CKS Piast Cieszyn's Ryland McGlenn. But to his dismay, Ryland McGlenn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 57 minutes into the match, CKS Piast Cieszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Caroll Lester came free, but Lou Cassin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Monasterevin were awarded a corner. Bowen Harkin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Monasterevin's corner Paul McFrancise fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lou Cassin quite easily take care of the ball. Lou Cassin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caroll Lester in the 64th minute of play. If Caroll Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CKS Piast Cieszyn's zone, Caroll Lester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lou Cassin came out of the goal and Caroll Lester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of CKS Piast Cieszyn booed when Monasterevin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul McFrancise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fionntán Dimson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Brannagh Branson didn't quite understand what happened when in the 80 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 82ndth minute of the game Ryland McGlenn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monasterevin's Art McSteven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. George McMichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Art McSteven having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CKS Piast Cieszyn's Bracken Rogers got a free kick in the 90th minute. Art McSteven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryland McGlenn in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, George McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot. CKS Piast Cieszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but George McMichel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Art McSteven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The CKS Piast Cieszyn manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Monasterevin to win.
