Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jarlath Lester made the kick off and thus started the match. Brenan Caffrey kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Baydan McBrandon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarlath Lester in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Scronagare's zone, Jarlath Lester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baydan McBrandon came out of the goal and Jarlath Lester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarlath Lester in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baydan McBrandon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Scronagare's Baydan McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cashel Taylor in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Cashel Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baydan McBrandon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Jarlath Lester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killmacomma's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarlath Lester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baydan McBrandon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ryan Ryan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Cashel Taylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rowland McIan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donleavy Lester having to interfere. Donleavy Lester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gearóid Doherty's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Donleavy Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gearóid Doherty in the 29th minute of play. Cashel Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baydan McBrandon having to interfere. Brenan Caffrey's late challenge caught a Killmacomma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brenan Caffrey helped the player get up and apologised. Brenan Caffrey hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Killmacomma's Troy Rutherford couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Scronagare. When Scronagare's Gearóid Doherty in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Killmacomma's goalie prevented a goal. Donleavy Lester was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Gearóid Doherty capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gearóid Doherty really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gearóid Doherty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gearóid Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donleavy Lester having to interfere. Donleavy Lester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gearóid Doherty in the 53rd minute of the match. Derin Tierney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baydan McBrandon having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Gearóid Doherty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donleavy Lester was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 68th match minute, Scronagare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Ryan to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Brenan Caffrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Rowland McIan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scronagare fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 81st minute, Derin Tierney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Scronagare's Gearóid Doherty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donleavy Lester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Scronagare's goalkeeper Baydan McBrandon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cashel Taylor. The supporters of Killmacomma booed when Scronagare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradon Gollogley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Killmacomma's Jarlath Lester ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baydan McBrandon. Baydan McBrandon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. If Jarlath Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scronagare's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
