Jarlath Lester started the match with the kick off. Harrigan Grant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cashel Taylor in the 5th minute. Gearalt McNamee hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Harrigan Grant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd John, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bunnanaddan Utd booed when Killmacomma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derin Tierney didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Killmacomma booed when Bunnanaddan Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reagan McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Bunnanaddan Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Jarlath Lester came free, but Harrigan Grant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Killmacomma's Jarlath Lester ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Harrigan Grant. Harrigan Grant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Reagan McNamara hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Daniel Lavine kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Donleavy Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Cashel Taylor came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harrigan Grant could save by the left post. Killmacomma's Donleavy Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinn Hamilton in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Killmacomma getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Derin Tierney hit a great ball. Todd John hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul McJohnny was the one to do the kick off. Bairthmead Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donleavy Lester having to interfere. In the 54th minute, one of Killmacomma:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Killmacomma. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, Bunnanaddan Utd's Benjamin Hutton got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Donleavy Lester. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Killmacomma's goalkeeper Donleavy Lester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Harrigan Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarlath Lester in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Killmacomma booed when Bunnanaddan Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Troy Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harrigan Grant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cashel Taylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes, Killmacomma's Troy Rutherford shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harrigan Grant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Killmacomma reached it. 85 minutes into the match, Cashel Taylor notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bunnanaddan Utd's Harrigan Grant. Harrigan Grant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cashel Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Harrigan Grant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Lee Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Killmacomma players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
