Dominic Sheridan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 32nd minute Alec Scargill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Sheridan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damien Shields kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When KS Sheffield's Alec Scargill, in the 33rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for KS Sheffield. Dominic Sheridan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alec Scargill in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Lawrence Seward made a precise shot to the right of Sol Mayo. KS Sheffield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Alec Scargill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Sheridan having to interfere. Alec Scargill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dominic Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Bobby Rogers fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dominic Sheridan, passed just outside the right post. Alec Scargills short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Dominic Sheridan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as KS Sheffield's Bobby Rogers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dominic Sheridan. That made the score 1-3 after 79 minutes of play. With a little luck, Archway's Dominic Sheridan got control of the ball when Bobby Rogers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Archway's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alec Scargill 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Dominic Sheridan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match was over KS Sheffield could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Archway throughout the match.
