Edward Ridsdale hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Francis House fc's Rueben Greaves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred Chapman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kristian Colman struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Vic Moxey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for jimjam. In the 47th minute, Ivor Coleman made a precise shot to the right of Fred Chapman. jimjam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rueben Greaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the jimjam defense, Rueben Greaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fred Chapman. The jimjam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Chapman should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, jimjam's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Kear came free, but Fred Chapman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Francis House fc got a freekick which was hit by Carl Seabourne. Fred Chapman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Kear, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Kristian Colman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joey Stayton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 101st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fred Chapman. jimjam's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francis House fc's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
