The Elstree Brigades F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fred Chapman was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Harvey Townson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Harvey Townson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Runberg in the 26th minute of play forced jimjam's goalkeeper Fred Chapman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
