Chris Warnett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for jimjam. Kristian Colman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Warnett having to interfere. Tottenham United's Lance Leeson got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lance Leeson might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred Chapman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lance Leeson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th match minute, Tottenham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. If Sid Woolford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Colman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Chris Warnett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Kristian Colman managed to get in a good position for a shot. jimjam's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Colman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chris Warnett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chris Warnett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Ridsdale, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Sid Woolford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. jimjam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sid Woolford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Chapman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ty Kennedy in the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tottenham United's zone, Edward Ridsdale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris Warnett came out of the goal and Edward Ridsdale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chris Warnett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Colman in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Fred Chapman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ty Kennedy in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Edward Ridsdale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sid Woolford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Ridsdale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chris Warnett having to interfere. If Kristian Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Ridsdale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ralph Wring charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralph Wring the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of jimjam booed when Tottenham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Wring didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Ridsdale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Ridsdale got in the 89th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Chris Warnett handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Jeff Nailor came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the jimjam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeff Nailor couldn't finish the play. Kristian Colman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Chris Warnett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tottenham United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. jimjam were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
