Graeme Silk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Li Hai Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Li Hai Yan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Graeme Silk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Wang Hao Zheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Graeme Silk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind RonnyFC's goalkeeper Graeme Silk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, RonnyFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Harland to maneuver through the defense. RonnyFC's Graeme Silk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Li Hai Yan in the 23rd minute of play. Russ Barton hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, RonnyFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wang Hao Zheng fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Ampthill FC booed when RonnyFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marty Harland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Li Hai Yan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Li Hai Yan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 35th playminute. Li Hai Yan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Graeme Silk having to make a save. In the 44th minute Li Hai Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graeme Silk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Byron Harper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Eric Hill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RonnyFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ampthill FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, RonnyFC's Eric Hill got a free kick in the 51st minute. Li Hai Yan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvino Serre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Graeme Silk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Li Hai Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ampthill FC made a substitution. Allan Winship replaced Li Hai Yan. Ampthill FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zane Woodhall in the 69th minute. RonnyFC's Graeme Silk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Hao Zheng in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Allan Winship left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ampthill FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Winship in the 80th minute of play forced RonnyFC's goalkeeper Graeme Silk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, RonnyFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Harland to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Allan Winship shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graeme Silk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Graeme Silk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Winship in the 90th minute of play. Allan Winship struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Graeme Silk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampthill FC. Ampthill FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of RonnyFC for a fine match.
