With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Scrivener in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Clough saved SEA THE STARS from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Marlon Higginson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfred Clough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Best in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Dersingham City got a corner. SEA THE STARS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ethan Best ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 13th minute, SEA THE STARS's Howard Carpenter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Liam Langley. Liam Langley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Marlon Higginson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SEA THE STARS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marlon Higginson couldn't finish the play. Alfred Clough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Scrivener, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Marlon Higginson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Liam Langley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SEA THE STARS's Nicholas Bishop got a free kick in the 27th minute. Brynn Dalby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Clough having to interfere. The supporters of Dersingham City booed when SEA THE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Nicholson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Clough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Scrivener in the 38th minute of the match. Liam Langley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Hayles in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Ethan Best had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Clough. SEA THE STARS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ethan Best was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Marlon Higginson made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SEA THE STARS's Alfred Clough got control of the ball when Brynn Dalby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liam Langley came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by SEA THE STARS's Theo Hayles. But to his dismay, Theo Hayles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some careless play in the Dersingham City defense, Theo Hayles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liam Langley. The Dersingham City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liam Langley should have stopped the shot. Alfred Clough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Scrivener in the 63rd minute of the match. Zaq Kerr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alfred Clough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dersingham City's goalkeeper Liam Langley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marlon Higginson scored 8-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liam Langley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antony Clifford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Liam Langley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
