With a little luck, Outwood FC's Dominik Flemming got control of the ball when Antony Clifford tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dominik Flemming was a little too slow when Howard Carpenter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Howard Carpenter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as SEA THE STARS's Theo Hayles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dominik Flemming. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the game, Jamal Haigh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Outwood FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SEA THE STARS the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Jamal Haigh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Outwood FC's zone, Marlon Higginson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Flemming came out of the goal and Marlon Higginson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfred Clough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spike Wiltshire in the 31st minute of play. Marlon Higginson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominik Flemming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marlon Higginson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute of the match SEA THE STARS got a corner. Outwood FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodney Carsley ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Antony Clifford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Outwood FC's John Paul Chadwick got a free kick in the 40th minute. Graham Foreman charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Graham Foreman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dominik Flemming didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marlon Higginson went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 58 played minutes SEA THE STARS got a freekick which was hit by Marlon Higginson. Alfred Clough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spike Wiltshire in the 60th minute of play. Dominik Flemming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Hayles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominik Flemming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlon Higginson in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Marlon Higginson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Outwood FC's Dominik Flemming was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Marlon Higginson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, John Paul Chadwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Marlon Higginson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominik Flemming was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rdth minute of the game Marlon Higginson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Outwood FC's Dominik Flemming was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Marlon Higginson made a precise shot to the right of Dominik Flemming. Outwood FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Theo Hayles might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominik Flemming. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theo Hayles ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Marlon Higginson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominik Flemming was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Dominik Flemming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marlon Higginson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Krief sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Outwood FC defense, Marlon Higginson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominik Flemming. The Outwood FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominik Flemming should have stopped the shot. Dominik Flemming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlon Higginson in the 93rd minute of the match. If Antony Clifford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that SEA THE STARS were the better team. SEA THE STARS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
