Spectators: 9190 (Terracing: 6894, Seating: 2113, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guido Pagomari kicked off to start the match. Ronan Sugden kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Mayo's Samuel Farmer tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Donny Beckwith's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Bird read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Bladi Fuster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mayo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Wally Casey hit a great ball. After 9 minutes of play, Mayo's Samuel Farmer made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bladi Fuster was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Guido Pagomari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bladi Fuster was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Bladi Fuster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Pagomari in the 16th minute of the match. Mayo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Farmer in the 17th minute. John-Paul Lumbergs hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Samuel Farmer sent off a fantastic shot from long distance in the 23rd minute of the match, a shot that made Bladi Fuster throw himself in all his length to reach the ball for the save just at the upper right corner. Mayo's Alexander Bird played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Deaconsfield in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Carl Deaconsfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The T H F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Steve Oliver received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bladi Fuster came out and tried to block the shot, but Steve Oliver slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute Samuel Farmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bladi Fuster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Oliver got free with Bladi Fuster in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Deaconsfield made a kick off. Alexander Bird made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Franz Midgley sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Guido Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bladi Fuster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Bird made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Deaconsfield in the 59th minute of play. Daniel Gillow hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the T H F C defense, Guido Pagomari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bladi Fuster. The T H F C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bladi Fuster should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Pagomari in the 66th minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Bladi Fuster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Steve Oliver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but T H F C's Bladi Fuster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franz Midgley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Alexander Bird when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Alfredo Miliano got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Mayo's Des Gill was substituted for Guido Pagomari. The supporters of T H F C booed when Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Bird took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Shakespeare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Des Gill made a precise shot to the right of Bladi Fuster. T H F C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 92 minutes into the game, Franz Midgley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Alexander Bird was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Steve Oliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mayo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
