Raimundo Salvadore started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Rawmarsh's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Percival came free, but Mateo Jago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Percival, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match Curtis Folan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gary Kelly showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Rawmarsh were awarded a corner. Curtis Folan went to the cornerflag to take it. Rawmarsh's Curtis Folan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gary Kelly in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mateo Jago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Percival's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Sebastian Percival cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mateo Jago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arbi Newell's late challenge caught a Rawmarsh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arbi Newell helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Newell's Arbi Newell got a free kick in the 21st minute. Hugo Alexandersen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gary Kelly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Salvadore's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Gary Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Salvadore in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes Club Atlético de Newell's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Curtis Folan who took care of the corner kick. In the 35th minute, Sebastian Percival hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Percival blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Jago having to make a save. Mateo Jago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Percival's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The Club Atlético de Newell fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Club Atlético de Newell's Sebastian Percival looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Sebastian Percival put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mateo Jago.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Percival stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mateo Jago had great luck who in the 52ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Spike Foley from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 55thth minute of the game Sebastian Percival who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rawmarsh's Mateo Jago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Percival in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Jago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Percival, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Arbi Newell got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Arbi Newell hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Spike Foley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Eufemio kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Rawmarsh's Raimundo Salvadore in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético de Newell's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th minute of the match Rawmarsh got a corner. Club Atlético de Newell's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Curtis Folan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 76 minutes, Wilton Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético de Newell and the Rawmarsh players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atlético de Newell getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Wilton Mandrak hit a great ball. Rawmarsh made a substitution. Nicodim Mihu replaced Dan Saville. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Newell's Wilton Mandrak got a free kick in the 77th minute. Hugo Alexandersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Alexandersen might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Jago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Alexandersen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, one of Club Atlético de Newell:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético de Newell. Club Atlético de Newell:s Gary Kelly showed great skill when he stopped Raimundo Salvadore:s penalty. Pastor Eufemio's late challenge caught a Rawmarsh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Eufemio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Club Atlético de Newell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Eufemio to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético de Newell played a much better game than Rawmarsh and deserved their victory. The Rawmarsh players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
