The Rusholme Ruffians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Söderqvist was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mantorp's zone, Robert Söderqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Brodin came out of the goal and Robert Söderqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Söderqvist struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Fredrik Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rusholme Ruffians. In the 58th match minute, Rusholme Ruffians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. Einar Linqvist hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Valter Grelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Rusholme Ruffians's goalkeeper Sixten Sillén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Åke Sjöberg. Karl-Åke Sjöberg's late challenge caught a Rusholme Ruffians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Åke Sjöberg helped the player get up and apologised. Karl-Åke Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Robert Söderqvist struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Robert Söderqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mantorp's Fredrik Brodin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Söderqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Brodin having to interfere. If Robert Söderqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rusholme Ruffians were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Mantorp to leave the ground with a draw.
