Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joacim Collin took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Stjärnhov IF's Joacim Collin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Lindberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Hammarby IF got a freekick which was hit by Tony Wall. Hammarby IF's Adam Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Abelsson in the 6th minute of play. Charlie Abelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Adam Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hammarby IF's Adam Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Abelsson in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Stjärnhov IF's Charlie Abelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Lindberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Joacim Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Charlie Abelsson got free in front of the goal in the 27th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Adam Lindberg was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joacim Collin in the 30th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Adam Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Charlie Abelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hammarby IF's Adam Lindberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Leonardo Ström fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammarby IF's protests and gave Leonardo Ström a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Abelsson in the 41st minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Adam Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charlie Abelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Lindberg having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, Stjärnhov IF's Joacim Collin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Lindberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute Gottfrid Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Söderquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Wall, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Charlie Abelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Charlie Abelsson came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Stjärnhov IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Abelsson couldn't finish the play. Charlie Abelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hammarby IF's Tony Wall got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Joacim Collin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Wall's late challenge caught a Stjärnhov IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony Wall helped the player get up and apologised. Tony Wall kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Billy Lundgren, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Joacim Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Stjärnhov IF booed when Hammarby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Lindberg was a little too slow when Joacim Collin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-4. Charlie Abelsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adam Lindberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Charlie Abelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stjärnhov IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
