In the 2nd match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Ahlberg to maneuver through the defense. Manfred Sandström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dane Friebe's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. George Hägglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Sandström having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dane Friebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manfred Sandström was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, IF Hisingen's goal looked a bit too open when George Hägglund came free, but Manfred Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dane Friebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dane Friebe in the 17th minute of play forced IF Hisingen's goalkeeper Manfred Sandström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfred Sandström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dane Friebe's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Dane Friebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dane Friebe took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfred Sandström. Manfred Sandström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Manfred Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Hägglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Dane Friebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Dane Friebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Fabian Widberg made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Dane Friebe put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Manfred Sandström. Dane Friebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Manfred Sandström made a huge save. The supporters of Gärsnäs BF booed when IF Hisingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Widberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, George Hägglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gärsnäs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Hägglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dane Friebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the game, George Hägglund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gärsnäs BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IF Hisingen the free kick. The supporters of IF Hisingen booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dane Friebe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Manfred Sandström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, George Hägglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gärsnäs BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
