In the 14th minute, Åsele's Tobias Simonsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valentin Britz. Valentin Britz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Sven Morat got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Brandin in the 23rd minute of play forced Åsele's goalkeeper Rune Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Sandberg in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Gottfrid Sandberg got a free kick in the 27th minute. Walter Stenström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Gottfrid Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elof Zachrisson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The long shot by Tony Kinell in the 49th minute really tested Valentin Britz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Arsenal FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Åsele.
