Malte Åhman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wictor Ahlbom's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Nils-Erik Aleberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wictor Ahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nils-Erik Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Jack Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Surahammars IF's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Aleberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wictor Ahlbom. Nils-Erik Aleberg made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jack Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. Bengt Åström came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Surahammars IF's Albert Skröder. But to his dismay, Albert Skröder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bengt Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Malmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Surahammars IF defense, Wictor Ahlbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Erik Aleberg. The Surahammars IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Erik Aleberg should have stopped the shot. Bengt Åström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Skröder in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Sixten Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Aleberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Flen FC's Wictor Ahlbom slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nils-Erik Aleberg. That made the score 2-1 after 47 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Skröder to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jack Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Erik Aleberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörgen Morat kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Nils-Erik Aleberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixten Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Aleberg having to interfere. Surahammars IF's Nils-Erik Aleberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Hermansson in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Malte Åhman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mark Wickander hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Nils-Erik Aleberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Ahlbom in the 73rd minute of the match. Wictor Ahlbom struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nils-Erik Aleberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flen FC. In the 77th minute, Malte Åhman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils-Erik Aleberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wictor Ahlbom's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Hampus Sandwall put in a rough tackle. 81 minutes into the game, one of Flen FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Surahammars IF's Wictor Cane got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bengt Åström. Wictor Ahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sven-Oskar Malmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bengt Åström made a huge save.
