Axel Norström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Björn Enegren having to make a save. Alexander Åhman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Hammarberg in the 17th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan got a freekick which was hit by Sten Tomasson. In the 21st minute of the match, Josef Olsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Björn Enegren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 23rd minute, Palm BK's Erland Landin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Björn Enegren. Björn Enegren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Börge Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Åhman having to interfere. Axel Norström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Björn Enegren made a huge save. Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's Björn Enegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Olsson in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Josef Olsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palm BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Björn Enegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Olsson in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's Björn Enegren got control of the ball when Erland Landin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Erland Landin made the kick off in the second half. Björn Enegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Björnsson in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's Arne Gustafsson got a free kick in the 58th minute. It was beautiful to see Palm BK's Axel Norström in action when he in the 60th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Josef Olsson took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Enegren. Björn Enegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Josef Olsson succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Björn Enegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Enegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Landin in the 77th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's goalkeeper Björn Enegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Palm BK's Josef Olsson in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's goalie prevented a goal. After 80 played minutes Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Nordström. When Bo Hammarberg fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's protests and gave Bo Hammarberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bo Hammarberg hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Axel Norström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Björn Enegren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josef Olsson in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Enegren saved Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan from getting behind. In the 85th minute Erland Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Enegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Röda Stjärnan's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Håkansson came free, but Björn Enegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Åhman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Hammarberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palm BK fully deserved thier win.
