Athlétic FC's Lukas Bengtsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Athlétic FC from getting a goal against them. If Ingemar Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Kurre Hamrins Akademi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. Trent Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas Bengtsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gert Högberg went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Trent Jacob ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stellan Kilberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Torsten Sjögren's late challenge caught a Kurre Hamrins Akademi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Sjögren helped the player get up and apologised. Gert Högberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 29th playminute. Trent Jacob hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Gert Högberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lukas Bengtsson. Athlétic FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gert Högberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Staffan Ryberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Mats Fogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

In the 51st minute Gert Högberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukas Bengtsson came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kurre Hamrins Akademi's Gert Högberg. But to his dismay, Gert Högberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Lukas Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Högberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 58th minute, Gert Högberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kurre Hamrins Akademi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Lukas Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Högberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uno Thidén hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Bengt-Arne Stor came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Athlétic FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Arne Stor couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Kurre Hamrins Akademi's goalkeeper Stellan Kilberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torbjörn Lundberg. In the 69th match minute, Athlétic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Johan Ahlerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Bengtsson having to interfere. Staffan Ryberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lukas Bengtsson having to make a save. Karl-Johan Ahlerot charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Johan Ahlerot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Athlétic FC booed when Kurre Hamrins Akademi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingemar Åkesson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stellan Kilberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Ingemar Åkesson slotted it home off the left post making it 5-3 in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Athlétic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Ahlerot came free, but Lukas Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kurre Hamrins Akademi's Staffan Ryberg got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kurre Hamrins Akademi had won after a very even match.
