A collision led to Skå IK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ernst Vall hit a great ball. Gert Högberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Charles Vennerlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skå IK's Charles Vennerlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Skå IK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Skå IK booed when Kurre Hamrins Akademi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Gert Högberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kurre Hamrins Akademi's Staffan Ryberg got a free kick in the 31st minute. Charles Vennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Johan Ahlerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olle Gadd's late challenge caught a Skå IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olle Gadd helped the player get up and apologised. Stellan Kilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Målare in the 45th minute of play. Stellan Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henric Alin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Kurre Hamrins Akademi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skå IK were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gert Högberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ove Målare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Alin in the 59th minute of play forced Kurre Hamrins Akademi's goalkeeper Stellan Kilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Henric Alin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stellan Kilberg. The goal made the score 1-3. Ernst Vall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stellan Kilberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernst Vall slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 84th minute. Stellan Kilberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henric Alin in the 88th minute. Staffan Ryberg's late challenge caught a Skå IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Staffan Ryberg helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Skå IK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
