Alf Pettersson started the match with the kick off. Wendell Wipp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sven Pihlwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Hegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Pihlwall having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nils Marques III's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Pihlwall was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute of the match Juventus FC got a corner. Ljungdalen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Ström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juventus FC's Esbjörn Pihlgren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven Pihlwall in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Marques III in the 23rd minute of play forced Ljungdalen's goalkeeper Sven Pihlwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Nils Marques III cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sven Pihlwall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven Pihlwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wendell Wipp, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Nils Marques III managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Marques III was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ljungdalen's Sven Pihlwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Marques III in the 29th minute of play. Esbjörn Pihlgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Pihlwall having to make a save. If Nils Marques III had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Marques III in the 35th minute of play forced Ljungdalen's goalkeeper Sven Pihlwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Lindkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Nyman in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Ljungdalen got a corner. After a rather tough play, Ljungdalen's Billy Odén got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wendell Wipp made a kick off. Jörgen Lindkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Pettersson in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match Ljungdalen got a corner. Juventus FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Malte Månsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Malte Månsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jörgen Lindkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55th match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Lööf to maneuver through the defense. Stig Nyman's late challenge caught a Juventus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Ljungdalen got a freekick which was hit by Stig Nyman. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Nils Marques III took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sven Pihlwall to make any attempt to save it. Nicklas Sandberg hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Juventus FC's Jörgen Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Pettersson in the 70th minute of play. Ljungdalen were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Juventus FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Malte Månsson took the corner. After 74 minutes, Patrik Löfgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ljungdalen and the Juventus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ljungdalen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Patrik Löfgren hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wendell Wipp got free with Sven Pihlwall in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jörgen Lindkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ljungdalen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malte Månsson in the 85th minute. Malte Månsson made a great header on Ljungdalen's corner, it was just that Juventus FC's Jörgen Lindkvist managed to reach the ball for a save. Ljungdalen's Sven Pihlwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Marques III in the 89th minute of play. Wendell Wipp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Sven Pihlwall made a huge save. 94 minutes into the game, Wendell Wipp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljungdalen the free kick. The supporters of Ljungdalen booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wendell Wipp didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ljungdalen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Juventus FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
