Taco Oldenborger hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, Ryttartorpets FF's Gabriel Martinelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sverker Hammarberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Lägdin came free, but Patrik Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester United's Sverker Hammarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taco Oldenborger in the 23rd minute of play. Sverker Hammarberg came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Ryttartorpets FF's Hubert Gruber. But to his dismay, Hubert Gruber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mevlüt Özal hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Gabriel Martinelli made a precise shot to the right of Sverker Hammarberg. Manchester United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Jens-Ola Bock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Ryttartorpets FF got a freekick which was hit by Taco Oldenborger. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Taco Oldenborger sped through Manchester United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sverker Hammarberg. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elder do Valle was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Bozhidar Stiptzarov. A long shot from Taco Oldenborger in the 52nd minute of play was well struck, but Sverker Hammarberg made a really good save at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hubert Gruber got free with Sverker Hammarberg in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ryttartorpets FF booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Överman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryttartorpets FF's Taco Oldenborger got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Bozhidar Stiptzarov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Martinelli got free with Sverker Hammarberg in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bozhidar Stiptzarov kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Manchester United's Sverker Hammarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Backlund in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ryttartorpets FF's Hubert Gruber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sverker Hammarberg. Sverker Hammarberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After some careless play in the Manchester United defense, Gottfrid Backlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverker Hammarberg. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Hammarberg should have stopped the shot. Ryttartorpets FF's Gustaf Olsson was substituted for Jens-Ola Bock. 78 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Sverker Hammarberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Martinelli. David Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Sune Sandström got a free kick in the 85th minute. Sverker Hammarberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Backlund in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Hubert Gruber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sverker Hammarberg. Manchester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hubert Gruber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Sune Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Gruber in the 90th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Sverker Hammarberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gottfrid Backlund charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gottfrid Backlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ryttartorpets FF's Gottfrid Backlund got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Backlund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sverker Hammarberg. Gottfrid Backlund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Ryttartorpets FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manchester United.
