Lars-Erik Skager made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jakob Caspersson sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Bozhidar Stiptzarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Skager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Karlsson struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ingvar Lägdin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hyssna IF. Ingvar Lägdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Melin in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jakob Caspersson could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Lars-Erik Skager however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ingvar Melin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hyssna IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Melin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingvar Lägdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hyssna IF's Oskar Karlsson got a free kick in the 45th minute. The long shot by Bozhidar Stiptzarov in the 46th minute really tested Lars-Erik Skager's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oskar Karlsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Richard Frykberg charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Frykberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hyssna IF getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Richard Frykberg hit a great ball. Ingvar Melin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Hyssna IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manchester United:s goal. Lars-Erik Skager had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Elder do Valle's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 56th minute, Elder do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Lars-Erik Skager. Hyssna IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 62 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Ingvar Lägdin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Rang. In the 67th minute, Emil Runberg fired a really elegant long shot, but Ingvar Lägdin threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Bozhidar Stiptzarov charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ingvar Lägdin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bertil Västlund kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Caspersson in the 92nd minute of play forced Hyssna IF's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Skager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of Hyssna IF echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Manchester United had held the ball for most of the match.
