The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Lindblom in the 9th minute of play forced Sundbybergs Sharks II's goalkeeper Bengt Bergendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Rickard Emander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Valström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Kristian Mogren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Béla Borelli kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Roger Bergstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Valström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Valström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Bergstedt in the 24th minute of the match. Christian Skoglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Bergendahl having to interfere. Rune Cane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bengt Bergendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Granarna's Jan-Åke Lindblom in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sundbybergs Sharks II's goalie prevented a goal. Christian Skoglund kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Måns Beckeman scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt Bergendahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Åke Lindblom made a kick off. Bengt Bergendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Skoglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Måns Beckeman came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Granarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Måns Beckeman couldn't finish the play. Christian Skoglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bengt Bergendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute of the match, Rune Cane got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bengt Bergendahl was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Sundbybergs Sharks II's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Skoglund came free, but Bengt Bergendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Granarna's Jan-Åke Lindblom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Bergendahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Åke Lindblom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Bengt Bergendahl made a huge save. Bengt Bergendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Skoglund in the 71st minute of play. If Béla Borelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Béla Borelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Lindblom in the 80th minute of play forced Sundbybergs Sharks II's goalkeeper Bengt Bergendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt Bergendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Lindblom in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Granarna's Béla Borelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt Bergendahl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 91st minute, Granarna's Christian Skoglund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Roger Bergstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Valström having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Granarna left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sundbybergs Sharks II.
