Anthon Karlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Väino Kapsas's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Stampen IF got a corner. Gandalfs Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pär Ståhlman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arvin Hedström made a great header on Stampen IF's corner, it was just that Gandalfs Fc's Anthon Karlsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Stampen IF's Kasım Yay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Nordmark in the 20th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Väino Kapsas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gandalfs Fc's Anthon Karlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Väino Kapsas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anthon Karlsson was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Kasım Yay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Sörman in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Karl-Ove Sörman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gandalfs Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Magne Nordlander hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With 34 minutes on the clock, Abelardo Carioca commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 34 minutes into the game, one of Stampen IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kasım Yay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Sörman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasım Yay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Sörman in the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Ove Dahlman got free with Kasım Yay in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kasım Yay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Knut Henriksson in the 44th minute. Anthon Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Gulliksson in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Gulliksson to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Stampen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Henriksson came free, but Kasım Yay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Jan-Ove Dahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Yay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Stampen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Sörman came free, but Kasım Yay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Knut Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Yay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasım Yay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Nordmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Stampen IF defense, Jan-Ove Dahlman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasım Yay. The Stampen IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasım Yay should have stopped the shot. Sonny Karlberg made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rickard Nordmark however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Nordmark in the 66th minute of play forced Stampen IF's goalkeeper Kasım Yay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stampen IF's zone, Karl-Ove Sörman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasım Yay came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Sörman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kasım Yay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Ove Sörman in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasım Yay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th match minute, Stampen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Hedström to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Gandalfs Fc defense, Arvin Hedström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthon Karlsson. The Gandalfs Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthon Karlsson should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Magne Nordlander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Ulf Söderberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kasım Yay skillfully saved the ball. Kasım Yay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Sörman in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Gandalfs Fc getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Zoltán Sebestyén hit a great ball. Anthon Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Gulliksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magne Nordlander kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Stampen IF's Kasım Yay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Sörman in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gandalfs Fc had played much better football throughout.
