In the 15th minute, Alvin Söderqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Solari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Emanuel Örn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zebastian Skoog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Ek in the 24th minute of play. Zebastian Skoog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes of play, AIK's Johan Eriksson made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. RINGSTORPSHÖJDENS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johan Eriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Johan Eriksson took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Zebastian Skoog to make any attempt to save it. In the 84th minute Viktor Eliasson suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 86th minute, Ronaldo Insigne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zebastian Skoog. The goal made the score 1-9. RINGSTORPSHÖJDENS FC's Zebastian Skoog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Moarcăș in the 91st minute of play. Johan Eriksson scored 1-10 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zebastian Skoog, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over AIK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RINGSTORPSHÖJDENS FC throughout the match.
