Sven-Åke Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Barck in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Emil Smedfeldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrlands Hjältar BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fåker IFK the free kick. When Niklas Barck came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Norrlands Hjältar BK fans jumped to their feet. When the match was over Norrlands Hjältar BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fåker IFK throughout the match.
