Emil Wahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Sandwall in the 8th minute of the match. Sven-Oskar Åhmans short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Odion Tao to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Åhman in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Oskar Åhman in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odion Tao saved Melchester Rovers from getting behind. The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when Hogans Heroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Kielstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Åhman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 played minutes Melchester Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Odén. Leonardo Persson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Odion Tao. Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match, Kennet Ahlquist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Odion Tao was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sven-Oskar Åhman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Odion Tao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A.J. 太史慈 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Wahlström having to interfere. Emil Wahlström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Sandwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Sven-Oskar Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odion Tao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hogans Heroes's Emil Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. 太史慈 in the 36th minute of play. If A.J. 太史慈 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Emil Wahlström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Sandwall was the one to do the kick off. Melchester Rovers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roger Sandwall in the 52nd minute. When Melchester Rovers's A.J. 太史慈 in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Emil Wahlström made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Roger Sandwall sent off a good shot on target. After 72 played minutes Melchester Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Odén. Tomas Kielstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odion Tao having to interfere. Kennet Ahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Sven-Oskar Åhman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 81 in the game by A.J. 太史慈 from a close distance when the talented Emil Wahlström managed to make a qualified save. Hogans Heroes's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, A.J. 太史慈 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melchester Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but A.J. 太史慈 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Wahlström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A.J. 太史慈 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hogans Heroes booed when Melchester Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. A.J. 太史慈 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Ahlgren's late challenge caught a Hogans Heroes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Ahlgren helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Ahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Harry Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odion Tao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes Melchester Rovers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonardo Persson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Leonardo Persson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao did a great save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hogans Heroes had played much better football throughout.
