With a little luck, Hammarby Gård's Per-Arne Billock got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Åhman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Oskar Åhman in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Emil Wahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Apelqvist in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Hammarby Gård booed when Hogans Heroes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bright Morningstar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Oskar Åhman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Per-Arne Billock made a huge save. Sven-Oskar Åhman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Per-Arne Billock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Harry Forssell hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarl Apelqvist was the one to do the kick off.
