Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Rolfsson in the 5th minute of the match. Jim Njurenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Soned showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Eric Soned took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chet Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goalkeeper Eric Soned, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frinnaryd were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Söderqvist took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Hans Söderqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eric Soned quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eric Soned showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chet Baker in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Sjögren came free, but Eric Soned reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Soned showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Frinnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Möllgren came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Njurenius to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Karl-Ove Rolfsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frinnaryd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Chet Baker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Ove Rolfsson to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Ove Rolfsson got free with Eric Soned in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Étoile Sportive Du Sahel from getting a goal against them. Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Sjögren in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Söderqvist came free, but Eric Soned reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The coaching staff of Étoile Sportive Du Sahel protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yu Kun Yan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Yu Kun Yan got a free kick in the 89th minute. Frinnaryd were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Söderqvist took the corner. Frinnaryd's Hans Söderqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eric Soned in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Étoile Sportive Du Sahel's Eric Soned got control of the ball when Karl-Ove Rolfsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Étoile Sportive Du Sahel getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jaroslaw Filanowski hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Hans Söderqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Soned showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Frinnaryd players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
