Mieszko Wyrzykowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 36th minute, Jerzy Rybak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Dula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Miromir Latocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerzy Rybak struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Miromir Latocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borkowizna. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of NEVERWINS booed when Borkowizna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislaw Mis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dariusz Maruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Wyrzykowski in the 55th minute of play. Piotr Sroki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Borkowizna getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jerzy Giec hit a great ball. Piotr Sroki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Maruda having to interfere. After 69 played minutes NEVERWINS got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Ochylski. Jerzy Rybak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Miromir Latocha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 75th match minute, Borkowizna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Rybak to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Borkowizna's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Wyrzykowski came free, but Dariusz Maruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NEVERWINS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Borkowizna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
