The supporters of Powodów booed when RTS Widzew Łódź was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachariasz Paraszczuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Lipinski in the 91st minute of play. If Radomil Lipinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Muelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Zerde in the 95th minute of the match.
