Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Korneliusz Setara kicked off to start the match. Waclaw Absolwent came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix's Szczepan Nikodemski. But to his dismay, Szczepan Nikodemski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, MZKS's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Jajecznica came free, but Waclaw Absolwent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Walery Budzynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jerzy Oborski came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the MZKS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Oborski couldn't finish the play. MZKS's Waclaw Absolwent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Winnicki in the 14th minute of play. Waclaw Absolwent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Korneliusz Setara's late challenge caught a Phoenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Korneliusz Setara helped the player get up and apologised. Korneliusz Setara hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Filip Wlodyga kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Waclaw Absolwent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Nikodemski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Nikodemski in the 36th minute of play forced MZKS's goalkeeper Waclaw Absolwent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Golob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Budzynski in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 played minutes, Phoenix's Juliusz Sochacki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waclaw Absolwent came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Phoenix reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Szczepan Nikodemski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Szczepan Nikodemski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Bogdan Jajecznica struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Waclaw Absolwent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix. The Phoenix fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Phoenix's Szczepan Nikodemski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th minute, Phoenix's Szczepan Nikodemski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waclaw Absolwent. Waclaw Absolwent yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix's zone, Jerzy Oborski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Golob came out of the goal and Jerzy Oborski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Waclaw Absolwent managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Phoenix's Szczepan Nikodemski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 77th minute Bogdan Winnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Absolwent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Phoenix's Bogdan Winnicki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartosz Kura got free with Waclaw Absolwent in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waclaw Absolwent was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bogdan Winnicki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 87 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Szczepan Nikodemski took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Waclaw Absolwent to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 95 minutes, Walery Budzynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MZKS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walery Budzynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
