Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eirik Holter got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, Sandsletten's Tor-Andre Mikaelsen threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henrik Øyan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tommy Nedrebø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandsletten's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Nedrebø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tor-Andre Mikaelsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tommy Nedrebø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Lauvås in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tor-Andre Mikaelsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hugo Lauvås's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tor-Andre Mikaelsen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hugo Lauvås could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Tor-Andre Mikaelsen made a huge save. Hugo Lauvås fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor-Andre Mikaelsen having to interfere. Tommy Nedrebø blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tor-Andre Mikaelsen having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Hugo Lauvås had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tor-Andre Mikaelsen. Faksdal BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Lauvås was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 41 played minutes Sandsletten got a freekick which was hit by Jeppe Edvartsen. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommy Nedrebø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Tommy Nedrebø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Nedrebø in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor-Andre Mikaelsen saved Faksdal BF from getting behind. Tommy Nedrebø scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tor-Andre Mikaelsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eirik Holter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Fjellanger having to interfere. Hugo Lauvås sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hugo Lauvås had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tor-Andre Mikaelsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Nedrebø in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Jeppe Edvartsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor-Andre Mikaelsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Nedrebø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tor-Andre Mikaelsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Nedrebø in the 87th minute of the match. When Tommy Nedrebø came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Sandsletten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Nedrebø couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Tommy Nedrebø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sandsletten fully deserved thier win.
