In the 6th match minute, Høyvågen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Harestad to maneuver through the defense. Runar Næss kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kjellsea's Anders Gudbrandsen got control of the ball when Bjørn Thommesen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Kjellsea's Gunnar Øye made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. But to his dismay, Sigve Løvberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Arild Norderhaug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Kvalnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Høyvågen's Max Harestad got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Max Harestad off the ground. Max Harestad hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gaute Solvik hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Oscar Brandal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stian Haraldstad was the one to do the kick off. Trym Idland's late challenge caught a Kjellsea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trym Idland helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Høyvågen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trym Idland to maneuver through the defense. Kjellsea's Anders Gudbrandsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stian Haraldstad in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Kjellsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Friis to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Kjellsea defense, Stian Haraldstad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Gudbrandsen. After 91 played minutes, Høyvågen's Per-Kristian Sundgot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anders Gudbrandsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Høyvågen reached it. Stig Kvalnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjellsea's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
